History of the company

The company was founded in September 2013 by Ares Pagnamenta (FINMA register No. 11391) under the name ares insurance broker. In 2017 it was transformed into an anonymous company: ares INSURANCE SERVICES SA (register FINMA 33128) was established.
Ares Pagnamenta is an insurance broker highly qualified, respected and appreciated, since 2005. Already an important partner of the brokerage firm with headquarters in Lugano, internationally active.
Professionalism, friendliness, integrity, ethics, efficiency and transparency are the foundations on which the team of ares INSURANCE SERVICES pose to offer solutions to any requirement in the insurance field.
ares INSURANCE SERVICES has agreements with all the major insurance companies, health insurance and pension foundations based in Switzerland. It offers international solutions, negotiated with Lloyd’s of London, respectively, with international insurance companies.
For the Italian market, ares INSURANCE SERVICES has the privilege of being able to conclude and manage insurance in Italy, with Italian companies, thanks to the agreement with a brokerage firm based in Italy.
ares INSURANCE SERVICES based in Taverne, north of Lugano (Switzerland). The managed portfolio of the company amounts to CHF 38 Mio and is constantly growing.

Personal history

Ares Pagnamenta was born in Lugano September 7, 1969. He works in the insurance industry since 1985. He gained experience in Lugano, inside the insurance companies Genevoise Assurances, Berner Versicherung and AXA-Winterthur, where he worked both in the field of claims and underwriting.
He obtained his federal diploma in private insurance in 1999. At AXA-Winterthur, in 2001, he was appointed Assistant Vice President. In 2005 he began his career as an insurance broker at the John P. Gandolfi Insurance Brokers, broker Authorised by Lloyd’s, Lugano. Since 2009 is a partner of Gandolfi & Partners Insurance Brokers, a company that leaves at the end of August 2013 to set up its own company, ares insurance broker, later transformed into ares INSURANCE SERVICES SA.
He speaks very good English (he lived three years in Los Angeles), German and French as well as Italian (mother tongue).
He has also been a professor at the Center for Banking Studies, Vezia, at the courses for obtaining the federal attestation in the insurance field.
